Singapore Day 1

It was a huge relief when the plane took off, especially as it had to have its enormous wings de-iced.

It was a very long flight,  but series 3 of The Crown kept me amused. 

It’s all rather discombobulating losing 8 hours of the day and arriving in Singapore in the late afternoon.

The airport is huge, extremely efficient, spotlessly clean and has a huge waterfall in the middle, obvs.

It is very hot and steamy but hubby was dragged out for a post long flight essential walkies.

I did say that a Singapore Sling was a priority..

The humidity induced hairstyle a la frizz was an added bonus.



Our swollen ankles plodded over to Marina Bay Sands which was rather spectacular.

The next challenge will be to attempt to get out of bed in time for breakfast.
